Bradley is usually at his best when he has a clearly defined role. He can be effective going forward (assuming a four-man midfield) so long as there's a stay-at-home d-mid a la Cameron beside him, and he can hold down the fort and allow others to go forward if need be. Part of the problem during previous cycles was playing him alongside another box-to-box type like Jermaine Jones, resulting in similar problems that England had during the Great Lampard-Gerrard Dilemma.

Bradley will be 35 during the next World Cup and so will likely see his role reduced in the next cycle, but it wouldn't be out of the question for him to get some call-ups as a locker-room/veteran presence. It's good to have at least a couple guys in the squad who have experience a sultry afternoon in Saprissa, for instance.

Is that like a cold rainy night in Stoke?

Russia would never had a state sponsored doping program.

Definitely want to watch the Spain and Portugal games now. Have to think both would rather face Russia so they
won't be holding back and content with a 1-0 win.

Watching the Egypt match. Its amazing how many times I've seen lazy forwards walk back after a defensive ball is cleared, only to be offsides when their team gets the ball, and starts the offense again.

Jog back with the defenders, for chrissake.
