Bet they will look for a big-name hire here, ala John Robinson, or they'll fall further on the local food chain behind VGK, the Raiders and UNLV hoops.

How fun would that be, Kiffin on Sat; Raiders on Sun?

Neither of those is going to happen. Mizzou won't touch Leach, and Pinkel is done.

Who is the commodity they’re gonna get with this fundraising? Bob Stoops decides he was content being out of college ball and hawking tequila; Rhule will head to the NFL; James Franklin is just getting leverage; Fleck already used his. Who is left other than Campbell?

My guess is that Sac State HC Troy Taylor gets UNLV or NM. Inheriting a 1-10 team and winning the Big Sky conference.

Damn. He was in the Locksley, Charlie Strong group for me this year. Bet against him nearly every week.

Had a great run betting against Bob Davie at UNM. Thank you, Bob.

Sac State has been a doormat, historically. I was stunned to see that the Hornets were the No. 4 seed in the playoffs when I watched the selection show Sunday. What a job by Taylor.
