    YES!

Of course he's still considering bringing Garrett back.

No one on this planet hates admitting his mistakes more than Jerral Wayne Jones.

As for the Leslie report, what looks like happened was Garrett told his assistants to seek employment elsewhere, one of the assistants texted someone he was outta there and that someone told Leslie they're all gone.

Jerry has believed deep in his soul that Jason Garrett, his football son, is the next Tom Landry. This season was probably the final straw in destroying that belief, but it doesn't go away easily.

Here are Dallas coaches with expiring contracts.

    Jason Garrett
    Rod Marinelli
    Kris Richard
    Ben Bloom
    Leon Lett
    Greg Brown
    Doug Nussmeier
    Greg Jackson

They're not going to renew any of the assistant coaches contracts.

Five years for Rivera in DC, many outlets reporting.

Still stunned that Rivera would go to Washington. Thought he'd take a year off to refresh, then parachute back home into Chicago after the Bears give Nagy the boot after next season.

He's bringing in Jack Del Rio as DC and the rest of the front office is a clean slate. Schaeffer was booted today as well. Maybe Snyder is taking this shit seriously.

I'm surprised the Cowboys are able to get the assistants they do - many are better than you find on the average staff - given the uncertainty and the weird dynamic there. I'll start believing in the Redskins when they no longer overpay for past their peak vets.

That appears to basically be the defensive staff. And firing Nussmeier as tight end coach clears space for Witten to go on the staff. So maybe the Cowboys run it back with new defensive coaches.

I wanna laugh maniacally at this, but I hope he might come to his senses for the fans’ sake.

I feel for the ESPN reporter who reported Marrone. Been there.

I'll believe that when Snyder starts to meddle and Rivera whacks his hand with a wooden spoon.
