I was at an event with a bunch of retired NHLers this weekend, some heavweights included. Many were of the mind that Chelios should shut the hell up.

Nah. There were rumors for years that Babcock was pulling my-way-or-the-highway bullshit that would eventually catch up to him.

It was indeed, all good.

 

I do not approve of what he did to Marner, or what he allegedly said to Franzen. I am just saying there are big-name guys who played with/against Chelios who don’t share his opinion.

 

Scuttlebutt deep in the hearta' is that Montgomery did a radio interview with the Stars flagship station last week that veered off into some raunchy territory and Nill and Gaglardi didn't like it at all.
