    True. Ray Shero doesn't seem very popular with much of the fanbase.

    If it had not been for a horrible performance against Buffalo, I don't know if Shero would have shot Hynes at the time he did.

    Fun stat I heard on the Caps radio broadcast last night: Washington is 23-0 against Boston all-time if Backstrom records a point. He got an assist on the winner last night.

    I happened to be listening on XM last night when he said that. Very cool stat.

    The worst thing about listening to out-of-market games in XM is the horrible announcers that you Easterners people think are so great. I guess when you grow up with the best of the best, you get spoiled -- Vin Scully, Chick Hearn, Bob Miller, Dick Enberg.

    Unless I show up, one of the five regulation losses was the stinker against Montreal last month. Heading to Raleigh on the 28th, so hopefully that changes ...
