I’m sure NBC wanted the Vegas-Chicago game in prime time, but running two games at once and no late game for us insomniacs/west coasters is a misstep.

The funny part is they think they want the Blackhawks for prime time ... they need to look at the Golden Knights.

Tuned in to Lightning-Blue Jackets for now. And yes ... I don't get why they're doing this with no late-night game. Unless, of course, at least one of them goes multiple OTs ...

And he’s worked on hockey for 30 years. Old hockey man has a job longer than anybody.

Not trying to take anything away from Kane here, but the bias/biased error drives me nuts. Amazes me how often I see it.

My post from yesterday notwithstanding, I'm going to pour myself a Bloody Mary here in about 90 minutes and enjoy this Capitals playoff game. Hoping for the best.

oh come on. Nothing good has ever happened for this team when they trailed 2-0 in their first round series!

IIRC, debauchery in water fountains. Shameful!

Correct, but these two losses felt a lot different than the Columbus losses. Anyway, better first period. Caps haven't been great playing from ahead in this series so maybe being down 1-0 isn't the worst thing.

Dale Hawerchuk died today. Great player, won the Calder after leading the old Cornwall Royals of the Q to two Memorial Cups. Led the Jets in some great Smythe playoff battles, and I remember him playing a big role in the 1987 Canada Cup.
