Do you think they even wait till tomorrow to fire Rierden?

They somehow injected some embalming fluid into the corpse at intermission, but I'm sure they'll rip our guts out here in the third.

I have no idea what happened. I saw the Caps cut the Islanders' lead in half, went to get dinner started and the next thing I know Caps are leading. That happened in a big hurry.

Brendon Dillon said it best during intermission ... "It took us 10 1/2 periods to get going in this series ..."

Big moment in the second, Eberle gets a rebound and has a chance to pot it five-hole on Holtby but just misses. If that goes in to make it 3-0, it's almost certainly lights out.

    Onward.

    It’s weird.

It’s like they suddenly started trying.

Glad to see a win, and glad I was wrong about the sweep. I still have no hope, though.

Not even thinking in terms of the series. Thinking in terms of the Caps finding a way to win Game 5 and make Barry squirm, if even just a little bit.

Jesus, Arizona, at least pretend like you want to stay...

    Utter domination by the Avs.

I'd rather stay in Edmonton than go back to Phoenix this time of year, but, hell, the bubble affects everyone differently.

3 teams out today. Like the March Madness, the first round is the best because of volume. Going to be lean viewing soon.

Two games tomorrow. Possibly only one on Friday. And unlike the NBA, NHL doesn't start the next round until the previous round is completely over, right?

And a fourth could happen if Philly wins

That is the normal procedure, I assume it will be the same in the bubble. They seem to have accelerated the first round a little - no travel, no venue issues. I think each series had a back to back.
