I keep expecting UCLA to name Greg Schiano as their new coach, because it sure seems the Currie is strong in Guerrero.

Rob Lanier replacing Ron Hunter at Georgia State. Tennessee assistant the past four years.

Musselman to Arkansas is the classic “I need a Power 5 job before my best players leave and I’m going to the NIT and I’m no longer a hot coach” move.

I wouldn’t expect anything less from a basketball program that hired Stan Heath and John Pelphrey.

Nevada coaches don't exactly have a great track record after moving up. I am surprised Musselman didn't get a sniff at Cal. I'm guessing the $2m he'll get from Arky is too much for Berkeley these days.

Hoiberg got $25M/7 years. Hope Musselman got more than $2M a year.

Interesting. He'll win the press conference. Then he'll have to win over whatever is left of his team and try to mitigate the attrition.
Probably about as well as they can do. Curious as to why and how the Ryan Odom thing failed.

Barnes would be such a mistake at UCLA, just the idea that he would entertain it (obviously surprised he hasn't been extended already at UT) makes me wonder about his judgement and a Southern born-again baptist leading UCLA? What happened to Baron Davis?

UT's not good enough? SEC money, and he just bought himself a couple of year's worth of goodwill if they have a poor season.

If he's dumb enough to make the jump to UCLA, he deserves all the grief he's going to get.
