The Mets are en fuego. Two more bombs for Michael Conforto.

It has been a while since he batted that low in the lineup. The Yankees, when healthy, are stacked and this is by far the best LeMahieu has played. That said, the MVP still has to be Trout.

I know none of it matters unless they win the World Series, but this Dodgers team is really fun to watch. They just won again with a walk-off. It's something like their 12th this season and third in four games.

Down 1-0 in the ninth, they strung together a HBP, hit, wild pitch and a two-out single by old man Russell Martin to sweep the Cardinals.

Ugh. Don’t remind me. Stick a fork in the Cards. They’s done.

Yankees Dodgers would be a great World Series. A rivalry that deserves to be renewed.

That was a very un-Chris Davis move. The proverbial quiet guy who twists off at the post office.

Bryce Harper hit his 20th HR last night, a solo in the 9th inning with his team losing 6-0

Take away his MVP season and his career slugging% is below .500. It looks like 2015 was a career outlier for him.
The Mets arenow closer to the Phillies than the Phillies are to theNationals, with 3 games this Fri-Sun between theNats at NY

I thought Soto would be an adequate replacement. I didn't believe Soto would actually be better than Harper. .... and not cost $27 million a year.

It is the nature of the wild card races that all of the teams in them will suffer many horrible losses down the stretch, even the winners. As a Phillies fan who basically wrote off the season at the All-Star break, I was shocked to learn they were still IN the wild card race. They're not a very good team.

Soto’s obp is .397 I didn’t think he was going to replace Harper that well. Robles has the chance to offer the Nats young quality corner OF’s for 10 years. But he has to get better, he’s 2 years older than Soto(20). And his 2nd half is significantly worse than the 1st half of the season.

In the long run, Harper left the Nats for pocket change and the ability to say, for a few weeks, that he had the highest aggregate contract value in baseball. It was pure hubris.
