    Long-time Tiger fan here. Ausmus doesn't just think he's the smartest guy in the room, he believes it. Unfortunately, that means he overmanages, to his detriment. The 2015 and 2016 Tigers massively underperformed under his watch. When the Angels hired him, I wondered if he had learned anything from that experience.

    Anybody happen to see Tyler Wade get called out during the Yankees-Angels game? Another reason replay is such a joke in MLB.

    Gardner lined out to center and Wade retreated to second in plenty of time. He tagged up, and settled himself on the bag as Simmons ran behind him and (maybe) tagged him on the back. Wade's spikes couldn't have been more than a quarter-inch above the bag as he settled his feet. He had already tagged the bag, but neither foot was quiiiiiiiiiiite in contact with the bag at that moment.

    I mean, seriously, this is childish shit. Wade returned to the bag in plenty of time. They literally didn't have a replay angle showing the glove on Wade's back.

    This is why replay sucks.
