Would the Cards have hired Kingsbury if they weren't going to pick Murray no. 1? I figure if there really a chance they weren't going to take Murray we would have heard it from a top local beat writer, Glazer or maybe Schefter. There always seems to be a build up of "who is going to be no. 1 and then when its locked in - we get the "maybe not" stories to goose interest in people watching the draft. I am surprised Rosen is still on the roster - but I imagine he doesn't have too many former coaches in his corner.

Rosen probably still has some value, but I doubt they could get a first round pick for him, like they spent on him last year. I think they could get a second or a third now; that seems to be the general consensus. If they draft Murray, I suppose Rosen could be needed to start some games / take some hits, but it's hard to imagine him increasing his trade value in a lame duck situation, and with everyone knowing they have Murray.

The history of the Arizona Cardinals strongly suggests they'll wind up with both Murray and Rosen and eventually be forced to let one go. Or both of them.

Since draft night is the Lions’ Super Bowl ...
My hope is they’ll trade down, which is possible at No. 8
My dream scenario is somebody moving up to pick a QB, leaving Devin White or Josh Allen at No. 8
Nightmare: They take the fucking tight end AGAIN!!!
Realistic: They stay at 8 and pick Jonah Williams, who replaces T.J. Lang at right guard

I just want the Cards (or someone else) to pick Murray No. 1 so the Niners get Bosa, the clear best disrupter in the draft since the start of 2018 football year. Bosa and Dee Ford and Buckner is how you build a dominant DL, which solves many problems.

So "Nick Bosa is a racist" is going to be this year's winner of the Laremy Tunsil award?

Yikes. But I guess 70 percent of players do this, right, Chef?
