I remember the show at MSG started with Triple H doing a rather random 20-minute promo to sort of explain things and eat up a TV segment.
Hell, they did that two-hour gauntlet match on Raw last year. Find five or six guys and do another one that takes up the whole show, with the winner getting a title shot against the champion of their choosing -- Lesnar or the Fiend.

 

They really need to release a video of the Fiend standing around the airport terminal reading a magazine, sipping coffee and scaring children while waiting for his delayed flight.
Or just do a 24/7 of his entire journey back from Saudi Arabia where he never speaks yet somehow has to clear customs. Have Bray pop up to explain how a piece of contraband got in his luggage.

Shit, The Fiend should go up to the Crown Prince and tell him he’s not afraid of his death squads because he’s invincible.

On the other hand, Basler is a nice surprise for Buffalo.

 

Baszler, Riddle, Lee, plus Papa H and Uncle HBK --- I think we've got a full-fledged NXT invasion, which is amazing.

I bet they had this planned in the coming weeks since they announced the NXT vs. Raw vs. SD match at Survivor Series, but they had to fast-track it.
