He makes $9.75M this year. So this is basically like a guy who makes $100K a year being fined $500 and getting a week's vacation plus firm-paid sensitivity training.

He's also out for the year injured and will be a free agent at the end of the season. He gets to try to find a new deal as a marginal bench player who just missed a season, and oh-by-the-way hates Jews.

    Meyers Leonard is fucked.

Funny enough if you showed me a list of NBA players’ names and asked me to pick the Jewish one, I woulda picked the guy named Meyers Leonard.

Luka Doncic is tied for 11th with Bob Cousy for the most triple-doubles in NBA history with 33.

    He just turned 22.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Oscar average a triple-double during at least one season? And what about Westbrook?

I will say - I thought LaVine was always going to be a soulless gunner type, like a Monta Ellis, scoring a relatively empty 20+ PPG for the rest of his life. This could still be a one-year blip in his 3-point percentage propping up the rest of his numbers - it's not like his DRTG has radically improved - but even still, this version of LaVine is a legit all-star. (It also feels like the 1-in-10, 1-in-100 time this happens, like when a Jason Kidd radically improves his 3-point percentage late in his career, that is then used to justify a wishcasting comparison to every other player of this type improving in a similar fashion.)
