And poof, just like that the disparity in treatment of the women is no longer an issue. And Mark Emmert is still Mr. President with all the deference, pomp and ceremony of a 16th century Chinese Emperor. And the usual woke suspects, the sports civil rights commentators and analysts who take any slight against a male as the second coming of the middle passage have swallowed their indignation. Collegiate women athletes should be absolutely equal to the males. They are amateurs and kids. It’s doesn’t matter who generates the most money, the kids aren’t getting a dime so you damn well ought to give the women the same facilities, perks, hotels, travel arrangements and swag as the males.

Because it seems in the eyes of the Emmerts, like that of Mr Goodell, women are distractions, punching bags and objects to be used and abused.

One of the CBS talking heads made a good point: Iowa tried to run and score with Gonzaga earlier this season, and the results were just like we're seeing today.

Other than Garza, Oregon has the edge everywhere else on the court.

Hey @LongTimeListener how much to rent out the rights to Vortex of Domination in the football off-season?

I can only assume LSU is going to boatrace Michigan later, seeing as the Big Ten has been exposed as totally fraudulent.

A nice innovation from the women’s tournament. After a video review, head ref goes to the PA mic to announce the decision instead of leaving the announcers up in the stands to guess.

This Iowa thing is not a surprise to me. They’ve been very banged up the last couple weeks and they couldn’t defend when they were healthy. I just hope we get some good Fran Red Face before it’s over.

@micro: Oregon's Eugene Omoruyi has really looked impressive.

With a name like that, no wonder he joined the Ducks!

That's two Pac-12 teams into the Sweet 16 with three more going tonight.
