Unfortunately, this quote from a couple weeks ago was right on the money.

I may actually pull for Michigan now as a hedge against Bama being the only school to let someone from that league into the Sweet 16.

 

Who are the announcers on this Zags game?

 

The B team.

 

Carter Blackburn and Debbie Antonelli. I really dislike Blackburn's delivery and repetitiveness. He was also the one who called the Virginia Tech football loss to Old Dominion a few years back so I may be biased.

 

Z team.

Zags player drives to the basket, socks an Oklahoma player who jumped straight up. OK player gets the foul. The refs go to the monitor to see if the OKLAHOMA player committed a flagrant - the guy who got socked in the jaw.

Anyways, Frick and Frack are clueless, and I feel like I am taking crazy pills because neither mention that the foul was on the wrong guy.

 

Drive to the basket in an uncontrolled fashion, initiate some contact against stationary/vertical defenders, throw up some slop that doesn't have a chance in hell of going in, and get rewarded with two free throws. Gotta love basketball sometimes.

 

With the chance of the Oklahoma guy getting a flagrant.

I don't mind bad calls. Really. Stuff is happening out there super fast.

But when you go to the fucking replay, CLEAN UP YOUR MESS!

 

I didn't watch a whole lot of basketball this season and last year was just getting into it when they canceled the tournaments. So I haven't watched a lot of basketball in 2 years. Now or send like either the play has gotten much more sloppy and physical, or the officiating has gotten much more sloppy, or all of the above.

 

Was there a mandate to call more charges this season? Seems like there are five or six every game. Mizzou-OU had 15 called.

 

Which tournament game was it that one of the teams committed only seven turnovers -- and four of them were offensive fouls?
