I miss the times when players like Luka Garza were the stars instead of the 1 and dones.

It's Andy Kennedy's first season as head coach at UAB, and he was hired in March in the year of Covid. He retained four players, the rest either transferred or got run off. Recruited by video and telephone. If they win today it will be the first time that UAB has ever started a season 6-0. He even found us a legit seven foot center transfer from Clemson, #2 in the nation in blocks.

Florida's Keyontae Johnson collapsed on the court in Tallahassee during today's game at FSU and has been taken to the hospital.

Why would that be? Mr. Johnson made the decision to play after contracting COVID 19. I bet he signed a “waiver.”

SEC says it puts COVID-positive players through cardiac testing before letting them return. No matter what, litigation may be forthcoming.

I feel so much for the family if this is the case and I will look on with glee as the SEC had to shut everything down and admit they fucked up.

SEC cardiac testing, aka “wind sprints” in the rest of the world.

    Medical malpractice perhaps.

FWIW, when Hank Gathers died, donations to his family flooded in .... until they filed a lawsuit. Donations immediately stopped. From what I recall, the Gathers family sued for $32.5 million. LMU settled for $1.5M, that went to his son. The doctor settled for $1M. Those are 1990-92 dollars.
