    I'm a little surprised it's taken this long for mid-majors to start to consolidate into semi-major BKC conferences to leverage their strengths.

    Teams like Belmont were forever just satisfied taking their conference's one bid and giving it a shot without realizing they could better monetize their success by joining forces with other teams for multiple bids and more moolah. Belmont is a fabulous add for the MVC.
