New Rochelle just wanted to show it was as tough as The Bronx ...

An evergreen tweet if there ever was one, especially after the comma.

Ray Rice succeeded in showing that toughness.

It's only illegal when the mid-majors do it and maybe take a player or two away from a P5 program. Iona's under-the-table payments are tip money for the Zion Williamson-level guys.

Draymond Green pretty much is what he is. Izzo doesn't have much to do with that; or if he did, why hasn't Izzo produced other players in that mold?

It's somehow appropriate that a wreck of a conference tournament was finished off by a Ramblin' Wreck.

Bill Walton just referred to Beaumont, Texas as a garden spot. I fear the drugs may have won out for good.

I'm sure SOMEONE in Beaumont has a garden.

I really thought Tech was going to get splattered after how awful they looked against Miami.

It happens from time to time. I think Mizzou won the Big Eight tournament in 1978 with a losing record. Sometimes a bad team gets hot at the right time. What it does is it knocks a bubble team out.

Georgia won the SEC tournament in 2008 (the tornado year) after finishing last in the old East division. For their trouble they went one and done in the big dance as a 14 seed.
