2020-21 College Basketball thread

    As I recall, N.C. State's 1983 national championship team would not have been in without winning the ACC tournament. Of course, the NCAA tournament was only 48 teams back then, but still...

    I think by the guidelines, they only need five players who have cleared the protocols. As long as you can get the five, that's probably worth going and collecting the TV credits, even if you lose by 20.

    Thought Mich State would be out, but you make it sound like Rutgers is a joke. Check their home record over the last two seasons.
    Mich St also beat Rutgers by 23.

    Belmont went 0-0 against Quad 1, 0-1 against Quad 2. Even their coach admitted they didn’t belong in the big bracket. I can see being a little miffed at the NIT snub, but being released from COVID hyper vigilance two weeks early sounds like a positive mercy.
