    Whoever was calling the Mountain West championship game last week said several times that it was San Diego State's first NCAA Tournament berth since 2018.
    Missed one whole tournament. Wow.
    The useless "since stat" is one of my sports pet peeves.

    1) He will coach a team wearing orange ... the twist, in this case, was getting drubbed by a team wearing orange.
