Did he say he wasn't going to get it? Looks like he just said he wasn't worried about it. Whatever happens, happens and such.

I covered the Falcons when Scott Case was a starting CB.

I assume they at least saved some money by cutting him, though I am sure they also have a dead money cap hit.

Fournette actually had his best season in 2019, setting career highs in rushing yards (1,152), average yards per carry (4.3), receptions (76), and receiving yards (522).

From what I read, this move was not about performance. He seems to have been cut because he's a pain in the ass to the team. They tried to trade him but had no takers, so they just let him go.

Cousins has a greater chance of dying from COVID than He does being 1st team All Pro or winning a Super Bowl. And I wouldn’t wish any of them for him.

The Watson signing in Houston made me wonder - better, worse or same, as Prescott?

Switzer grabbed him as a nickel back for the Cowboys. I don’t think he ever tried to make a play of the ball and was just a pure headhunter. I remember thinking he actually intimidated some of the Steelers WRs in the SB.

Without looking at their stats, my knee-jerk reaction is that Watson is better, but I might be skewed because it seems like he wins more. I'm not sure if the Texans going 9-7 to 11-5 every year and flaming out before the conference championships is really all that different than what Prescott is doing in Dallas, though.

He’s had a better career than I thought he would
I didn’t think he had the arm strength to be anything more than a career backup like Drew Stanton or Brian Hoyer
That said, he’s the third best QB in his division
