    I know I live in the land of the bland when it comes to weather but threads like this make me glad I'm in the PNW. Except for the wildfires, which probably are going to be worse than hurricanes and tornados as global warming continues. To paraphrase Joe Cocker, I can stand a little rain.

    Just wait until the Cascadia Subduction Zone ruptures. Or one of your volcanoes decides to blow its top. (Of course, that hopefully will be a very long wait in comparison to a tornado or hurricane.)
