Just because Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama forgot to switch off "schedule tropical storms" this month in the Google calendar app.

They're going to keep sending them until somebody at Hurricane Supply Co. finally superpegs them.

There's no such thing as climate change but we've run through the entire alphabet and up to Zeta in the Greek alphabet...

We're forecasted to get a ton of heavy rain here in the Old Dominion on Thursday from this. Wish we could ship it out to Colorado and California.

Same. We're already getting either the outer band or an associated cold front, which means the next 36-48 hours are going to be very wet. The cabin is due for a new roof. I don't really want a huge tree to land on it for insurance purposes, but a sapling that catches a corner of the flashing would be just fine.

Wind is positively howling here in upstate South Carolina. Good morning, Zeta.

Shit's supposed to blow through here around noon. Four hours of heavy rain and wind and gone, per the forecast.

I've gotten a considerable amount of rain over the last 12-14 hours, but the wind hasn't been anything really. From the looks of the radar, the rain is about to move out.
