So three original NL West teams and the Rays. That's really so 2020.

Leave it to the Rays to make a run with no fans allowed. LOL

Stupid question, but I’ll ask it anyway: Does an intentional walk count toward the three-batters-faced rule?

This is a bit surprising considering the White Sox took a step forward this year. Anyone more knowledgeable about the Sox have any insight about this:

I forgot about all the Giants battles with Nolan Ryan, Mike Scott, Dickie Thon, Bagwell, Biggio, Billy Hatcher, Joe Sambito, Jimmy Wynn amc best of all, Ceasar Cedeno!!

Mike Scott of the sandpaper ball threw a no-hitter against the Giants at the 'Dome to clinch the NL West in 1986, so cheating is part of the lifeblood of the Astros even then.

But no list of the Astros of that era is complete without Jose Cruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuz.

Maybe just give Manuel Margot the four-finger pass.

Seems like that’d be a way to get a guy who just doesn’t have it — for example, Aaron Loup last night — out of there before he can do serious damage.
