It’s possible he will have managed two Chicago teams right before they won a championship.

    Seems like a good guy.

He has a WWE career ahead of him, as he already knows how to fall.

I was surprised, but he made some terrible bullpen moves throughout the season - none worse than Game 3. Ricky is a good guy, who is good at developing talent - he didn't do enough in a vacuum to get fired by either the Sox or Cubs, but both teams looked to bring on a better in game manager once they actually got good. I think they get one of the suspended cheaters - I don't believe that La Russa rumor at all.

Hinch or Cora should be salivating at a chance to manage that team through the rest of this decade.

Pretty darned good gig right now. No, you don't have the same resources as those with Most Favored Nation status (Yankees, Red Sox, Walgreens, Cubs) enjoy, but you don't need protection of the establishment. Great young core in a division with the downtrodden Royals and Tigers and the soon-to-be-downtrodden Indians.

Braves pouring it on in the 9th. It was a well-pitched game until now.

Look he didn’t win but living out here, he a damn lot with so little resources.

Plus I think whereas Moneyball definitely she’d light on him, he was never the guy who coined that phrase or asked to be recognized differently that was pure Michael Lewis not Beane.

It's the Dodgers' bullpen. And tomorrow it's Kershaw in October.
