Imagine being a Georgia Tech fan tuning into the NLCS to get your mind of the Clemson game, only to see more of the same in the first inning.

More than a few bitter comments about Mookie Betts on Twitter from Boston baseball media right now, including some from folks who have regular gigs on NESN's Sox broadcasts.

Watched every pitch of the Rays’ postseason except for last night’s game. Arozarena has been otherworldly.

Don't know if I could have pulled Morton there, but it worked out. So far.

Hot damn. Go Rays. Portland (or someplace) will get a good team in a year or two.

Both have adaptable stadiums in place, which Portland doesn't. Balance-wise, PDX makes more sense, you could then move Houston and go with a five-team AL Central by moving Cleveland to the AL East. Cut down on a lot of travel, especially with Toronto, NY, Boston and Baltimore not having to go to Florida three times a year and LA, Oakland and Seattle replacing at least one Texas trip with an easy trip to Portland.

The Braves would soak Charlotte for millions in TV territorial rights.
