It's gotta be two -- the boot by Taylor and then the drop by Smith

Oh and way to back up the play Jansen, instead of wandering around the third base line

 

I really, really hope the Rays go on to win this. That's a loss that gets the Dodgers cursed for a generation.

I played on Little League teams that executed that play better.

 

One helluva ballgame. I thought the only error should have been on Smith. The runner on second was going to score anyway, regardless of what Taylor did. But Taylor did make a good throw and Muncy made a good throw. Smith just didn't catch it. Jansen should have challenged Arozarena on the 2-2 pitch. Walking him was a mistake. But both of the hits by Kiermaier and Phillips were broken bats. Rays earned it -- never say die.

 

I agree with every word of this. But you forgot to add, fuck the Rays.
