Hope they take his car to a chop shop (and weld it back together).

I’m pretty sure his gear is not in Jen Jo Cobb’s garage, though.

Police reported a group of kids were sniffing around the hauler shortly before the vehicle was reported missing.

That wreck was amazing. He just missed getting T-boned at 120 mph in his ripped-open racecar, which would have splattered parts of him all over the track. Then he calmly unbuckles himself, steps out of the seat and is just standing on the track.

I forgot about Johnny Sauter nearly T-boning him. You can see on the straightaway shot that Sauter hit the inside wall and caught on fire pretty good.

It was probably 15 years ago that I was there, but they had the wreckage of that car -- and the one from the nearly identical wreck Michael Waltrip had at Bristol years earlier -- on display at the racing museum at Talladega. They looked like just hulks of metal spread out across the floor.

I've never been a huge Jimmie Johnson fan, but I'm pulling for him next week. He's got to be better than his average finish (14ish), though.

He's been finishing pretty high since the restart. Had a lot of 35-40 finishes early due to wrecks, blown engines, etc. Of course, superspeedways are a total crapshoot as far as that goes.

Tyler Reddick just ruined the playoff chances of a bunch of a bunch of drivers. Brutal.

I hate red flagging a race at the end to manufacture drama.
    Run the advertised distance.

All the bubble drivers are still in it, though.
