Yes. They hosted World of Outlaws about 20 years ago and covered it with dirt. Getting the clay off the actual track wasn't nearly as bad as trying to get all the dust, etc. off the rest of the facility.

I think it's plenty legit, it just can easily get lost in the betting marketplace. The sanctioning bodies definitely need to do a better job of getting in bed with gambling entities like the other major sports have. I'm baffled why IndyCar, based in a state where legalized sports gambling has taken off very well, hasn't inked a deal with DraftKings or the like. You can find odds on their races but you have to dig pretty deep on the apps.

Dirt Bristol 2025, once my changes are implemented.

If I'm Bristol's course director, I'd call the folks who move Supercross in and out of the baseball stadiums every winter...those guys know dirt.

NASCAR seems like a sport that would be much better suited to prop bets and live betting than traditional betting. Things like what lap the first pit stop will be on, who will lead a specific lap, or an over/under bet on what position a driver will finish in would be a lot more fun to follow than just trying to pick the winner.

I like group betting, where you just have to pick the winner out of five guys. They'll have multiple groups for each race, Group A will be the stars down to Group E or so with the chumps. Many books also offer top 3/top 5/top 10 finishers. Last week for the Vegas race, I put a couple bucks on the winning car number being under 11.5 at +110 odds. Thought that was pretty good considering I was getting Harvick, Brad K and Hamlin. And then Kurt Busch won in the 1!

Wow. I didn't remember Supercross at Dodger Stadium. Angel Stadium does two or three in January and February. The baseball field always looks great for opening day.

They all know each other. Supercross has been running at Daytona International Speedway since before it was called Supercross.

The end of this race has been nuts. Of course it’s Talladega.

A lot of these guys need to learn how to bump draft.

Get those stupid restrictor plates off the vehicles. Until they do, the Big One is even more omnipresent than usual. And, last I checked, I would think NASCAR would be more concerned about fans who win the race, not those trying to figure out who was involved in the pileup or three or four.

It's not even racing now. Just demo derby. Even NBC said, "We're going to local news."
