Someone call the police. We just had a murder on live PPV.

    That was ... something.

Would've been great if they had someone burned to death in the middle of the ring, then had Roman's music play for the universal championship match.

Too bad Fiend wasn’t a champion. Miz could have come in and cashed in the briefcase on a charred corpse.

Ill say this, I ended up reading a spoiler that the Fiend was set on fire. And what happened on the screen was beyond my imagination and still needed to be seen to be believed.

if that good for the business and the future of Bray..... i dont know

Any good monster - Undertaker, Mankind, even Kane and Abyss - eventually becomes a babyface if they stay popular with the audience long enough. It always seemed like Bray dealt with nagging injuries, so maybe this could be a chance to get him some rest before that happens, and then you bring him back as a shot in the arm at some point.

Watched the teaser to the network's new "Icons" series, and it definitely looks promising. Especially the ones with the tough stories like Luger, Bulldog and Yoko.

Don't remember WWE doing addressing Luger at all since his defection on Nitro.

Might be on the sports/news board, but RIP Kevin Greene. He had a good showing in his brief time with Mongo in WCW.

Thought I had today, hearing the Masked Man Show instant reaction to last night's PPV - Would Randy Orton be the highest impact signing for AEW? I kind of think it would either be him, or John Cena, if they could get Cena to agree to a full appearance or wrestling schedule. Both guys are known pretty strictly as WWE guys who have never been with another promotion, and either would be a huge coup for AEW. I think Reigns would be high up on the list too, but I think his checkered past with crowd reactions makes him a little less valuable, unless you can guarantee to me that he's spending 10+ years in the promotion. After those three, I think it would be guys like Brock Lesnar, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan - they all move the needle in various ways, but maybe not in a long-term way.

Yeah, I saw it. Luger’s seems to be the most intriguing. Yoko’s and Davey Boy’s seem good, but I’d like to see if any new ground is broken.

RVD’s will only be interesting if they actually talk about the drugs. Beth’s just looks like a typical “female breaking down the glass ceiling” narrative.

Yeah, he had a good personality for wrestling. RIP.
