Edge hit it out of the park with his promo. And that music still riles up a crowd like no one's business.

Edge and Randy is going to be a good one.

Does it eventually become a triple threat with Styles for Wrestlemania?

Nah. This has got to be a 1-on-1 blood feud. Hopefully, not wasted on the Saudi show.

Also, AJ apparently separated his shoulder last night, so there's no telling how long he'll be out.

i cant remember the last time a promo was that good and that over

it was a great segment in that you’re cringing that Edge is getting mauled..... but deep down you’re so happy its safe to see edge getting his head knocked around. Reminded me of the first night Daniel Bryan got cleared and there so was much odd joy in seeing him get the crap kicked out of him

Everything about that segment was perfect. Edge’s promo. Randy playing the face and then nailing an RKO. The sadistic look on his face as he stalked Edge and then finally nailed him with the chair shots. The crowd reaction, absolutely hating Orton for what he was doing. Even picking up the refs on the mic yelling, “Don’t do it, Randy! Don’t do it!” That’s how you get instant heat for a feud. They’ve torn it down before, and I expect they’ll do it again.

The aftermath was good, too, but it's tough to suspend the disbelief that, of all the wrestlers to check up on Edge (even the Edgeheads, for Pete's sake), not one would come out to the ring when they saw Orton attack him.

I wonder if they'll bring back Christian, too, even if not a fully physical role. Maybe they announce Christian as a Hall of Famer (finally) and he comes to the ring, only to be confronted/attacked by Orton.

So the Almighty Meltzer is claiming that Charlotte is going to challenge for Rhea Ripley's NXT belt at Mania. Unless they're going to use it as an avenue to rocket Rhea to the moon, imagine how that would go over at Full Sail.

Imagine if they had Roman challenge Adam Cole for his belt.

NXT has the best womens division in wrestling. NXT won every womens match at Survivor Series. If they have the guts to let that be the story, let Charlotte say that out loud, I think its a bold and awesome choice

Explains why these 2 weren’t in the Royal Rumble at all. Insert Fiend joke about Brie’s here.
