NBC is always going to hold what it holds for the prime time broadcast, but if you're using all their channels, there's a good selection of live coverage. And I still have cable, so I also have access to all their streaming right through my TV. I can pretty much watch anything live I want to. I think it's gotten easier to do that.

Zack Stubblety-Cook is a great Olympic name. He's no Dong Dong but he's pretty good.

Given what they've said about the size of Michael Phelps' feet and the size of, well, Simone Biles, I don't think this holds up.

I left that one up in the zone on purpose. It was still rising when it cleared the wall. Nicely done.

I watched Michael Jordan spend a summer in the Alabama heat to put up a .202/.289/.266 slash line because he was freaked out for a bit about being on top of the basketball universe and wasn’t sure how to cope. I think it worked out ok for him.

Was mentioned a few pages up, but worth bringing back.

I'm not a Dan Hicks fan on golf. Especially paired with Azinger.

But the Hicks-Gaines team is by far and away the best announcing crew of any sport at the Olympics. The track crew, based on the trials, is also good. But Hicks and Gaines have been doing this for so long, they just mesh so well and they're not talking down to you while still informing/educating you. Yes, Rowdy pumps up the blood pressure, but it's the Olympics. It's a great listen.
