I'm not even sure what the issue is (no fantasy for me) but it seems Songbird drove across the country and lost three years of his life. Hey, I though the Fountain of Youth was in St. Augustine, not Long Beach.

I'm still considering St. Augustine, or Fernandina Beach.

For a guy like me who was never any good at sports as a kid but always wanted to play general manager this has been a great month — MLB, NBA and NHL drafts, NHL and NBA free agency and the MLB trade deadline. I don’t miss working them but was flattered they always wanted me to work them

Geez fire sale in Chicago. It’s incredible how they went from definite sellers to hang on now they might have something here to clearance sale. Will be interesting to see how long the Cubs are going to need to recover and get back to contention. But I know some Cardinals fans who I’m sure are hoping is going to be a while.

People didn't know that the two owners had made a side agreement at the time. That came out later.

You angled for the pissing match. I responded with a tweak about this, which you then blew up into a whole thing because you still think your cheating was somehow justified.

Both trades were lopsided and they were done in collusion so each of you would get a boost in the league in which your team was in contention. You cheated. You got caught. All this time later, you still can't handle the consequences.

Martin is one of the top 15 or 20 prospects in the minors, though he hasn't been great this season. The Twins at least got a nice return.

I can't even remember the last time the Sox and Cubs made a trade.
