Scottie got a shit-tier sourced bourbon to hawk and this is not how I'd market it

Looking back at the box score for that game... Man, the non-Jordan years were weird. That was Kukoc's rookie year in the NBA, and he only averaged 24 MPG, and he only played 13 minutes in that game. Pippen played 40 minutes, shot 50 percent and had 25 points, so it's not like he was ice cold or something. The immortal Pete Myers played 20 minutes, one less than Steve Kerr.

Maybe even more crazy, Pippen played the next game and the rest of the series. As effing weird as Phil Jackson could be as a coach, and he clearly had a great ego about himself, he was usually willing to suppress it to win games. Ewing, Oakley and Anthony Mason beat the crap out of the Bulls' frontcourt - Horace Grant held his own, but Cartwright was pretty much running on fumes, and Luc Longley and Wennington were their usual average to below average selves.

Scottie seems very angry about events that happened 25 years ago. He seems to hate Jordan and Jackson more than I realized.

I'm more about the words than the delivery, that's my job, what are the facts? But jeez, Scottie, who let you on camera like that? With video off, he comes across coherent and with substance. With that hairdo? He looks like a guy trying to represent himself a trial without an attorney and who does not have access to a shower. I'm all for embracing your ethnic hairstyle but he looks like he just got electrocuted.

Just a poor defensive night for the Suns all around. They deserved to lose. Make some adjustments, get Ayton more involved, don't let Marcus Morris score at will, and they'll win one of the next two. Lue ate Monty's lunch last night.

I've been a bit impressed with Lue - that roster is talented, but it's full of head cases, and plenty of teams would have outright quit given Leonard's injury.

I also have been impressed. I thought the coaching was heavily skewed in the Suns' favor when this series started, but Lue has really adjusted well with the pieces he has to work with. To get anything out of Cousins -- much less game-changing minutes -- is something. Beverly is in the Suns' heads right now, too. Game 6 will be interesting. Never felt like Phoenix was going to win that game last night, even with the multiple comebacks. You can't let a team shoot close to 60 percent on you in a closeout game. I trust Monty will make some key adjustments of his own on Wednesday.

Is Kawhi Leonard hurt, or is he "Kawhi hurt"?
