I don't think we'll know the extent of his injury until the Clippers are bounced, since they're being cute and ruling him out game by game. I think they've only called it a "right knee injury," but the rumors have described it as a strain to an ACL tear. I think he's done for the playoffs, but because of the Clippers' gaming this and his past history, it opens him up to the "why don't you just tough it out, true grit" crowd for criticism.

 

If this was the regular season, then yes, there's reason to ask yourself this question. Since it's the NBA Western Conference Final, it's just dumb.

Nah. I think that Kawhi looks out for Kawhi first. I think Kawhi thinks his health is more important than the success of the team. I am not criticizing him. Just think it could be the reality.
