I’m not a Beverley fan because he’s so physical on Curry but that was the cheapest of shots. Dude you’re a grown man.

Not a CP3 fan either but he was sooooo good, that was greatness.

 

Stat of the night heard on the radio - this will be the first NBA Finals not to include at least one former teammate of Shaq's since....1984 (Greg Kite played with Shaq later in his career).

I've seen a lot of wacky shit in sports but this goes above and beyond.

 

Look, Chris Paul flopped and sold the shit out of that Boogie elbow, I acknowledge that. It's part of the game, sadly, to bait refs to get calls. I don't love it but let's not act like CP is the only one who does it.

The Beverley shit is dumb. He spent two games acting like an absolute clown with his demonstrative shit talking and then CP gives him the stink eye at the end and he blows up. Resting Demarcus Cousins bitch face may be my new favorite thing, too. I respect Beverly's defensive ability and he really got into Booker's shit early in the series and got the Clippers back into it. But that shove in the back will get you beat the fuck down if you try it anywhere else other than an NBA floor. Good on the Suns for not reacting and costing themselves suspensions for Game 1 next week.

The more I think about it, had the Suns blown this series, it would have been as devastating of a fan experience as I've ever had. The Suns were the far better team than a Kawhi-less Clips' squad. Kudos for Tye on pulling together that Game 5 win, but PG looked tired last night, understandable since they've essentially played every other night since the playoffs started. L.A. got everything they could have gotten out of that roster and should be commended for stretching the series to 6.

I think they said at the beginning once the conference finals were done, Marv was heading into the sunset. And the finals are on ABC so I don’t think they’re alternating networks.
