I am interested in time travel, cold fusion, and perpetual motion devices.

I'm waiting for the Hadron Collider to rip the time space continuum. That's when the fun begins.

I know a lot of guys interested in Scarlett Johansson, too, but I'm not sure it's going to happen. (ETA: I didn't notice that that fucker DSD had made a better joke before me, like usual! *Shakes Fist!*)

Chris Paul has a player option for 2021-22 that is worth $41M - I think he's going to pick it up, since he can probably get another decent contract in 2022-23 if he wants, but I'd be surprised if he could get, say, 3 years, $120M right now as a free agent. Also, it's a "nice" story if he stays with the Suns, and tries to run it back next year. He's an NBA guy with a national advertising profile as well, so he's probably interested in maintaining that, vs. joining the Lakers or Brooklyn or something like that, at least for this next year.

Russell Westbrook on the Lakers would be such a bad fit and fucking chaos that I don't think they do it in a million years. As much as I've shit on them in the past for lousy moves, their current structure has been relatively sane when it comes to balancing "good of the team" vs. "keeping LeBron and Klutch mollified."

One of the things I liked about the NBA playoffs was the opportunity for fans to realize there are more than six teams in the NBA.

The Chris Paul or Russell Westbrook to the Lakers story pissed me off. It was written by Marc Spears, who I’m sure knows better.

The Lakers cannot get either of those guys and it’s bullshit to pretend they can — unless they are putting LeBron or AD in the deal. Same thing with Lillard, whose name will also get thrown around.

I can't decide which fan base is more delusional when it comes to acquiring players: Lakers or Knicks.

Well, it seems like almost every "once-in-a-generation" player (Chamberlain, Kareem, Bryant, O'Neal, LeBron, etc.) ends up with the Lakers at some point, so if Laker fans think they can get Jesus himself, I'm not sure how delusional that would actually be.
