They HAD to have planned this reaction, right?

Listening to JR, Schiavone and Co. on this is also great. JR even sneaks in a "shiz-nit."

They sound like they're having a blast, which is much different than the E, which would have had a scripted and stale, "Are you kidding me?!" from Michael Cole.

Ugh. They had to split up New Day again?

The WWE tried and true: going to a guy's home. Question is: what kind of mom is Beth, taking their young kids out to the grocery store at 9 p.m.? :D

This match should be on a PPV.

Isn't their next PPV a couple months away?
I think that's what's been an underrated part of them gaining so much ground on WWE, though. WWE has to feed the beast with its monthly PPV model. AEW, with only four PPVs a year, almost has to give away some great matches like this one or else every feud would drag out for six months. So they put these kinds of banger matches on Dynamite or Rampage and it's helping them build an audience much faster than they otherwise might.

When Edge said he was gonna call David and Daniel, apparently that was an Easter Egg shoutout for FTR’s shoot names, they live in his town and helped him train for the comeback. Cool stuff there

Just dawned on me, was Finn Balor not on Smackdown at all?!?!?

So he’s gotta be going to Raw to replace McIntyre as 1A babyface and we’re just never going to speak of rope-break-gate again? Honestly that might be the best possible outcome for Finn anyway

Nice touch to have Dolph call back to Big E and Drew both being his underlings before breaking out.

Too bad they had to work around any glimpse of AJ Lee in the Dolph/E clips.

A week ago, so many people were thrilled at the thought of a hard-hitting faction war between New Day and the reunited Hurt Business.

Instead, New Day has been split up (again) and Cedric and Shelton were jobbed out (again).

I dont understand the booking of the draft. Adam Pierce shouting out names in no particular order with an air of “you’ll see em in a few weeks” is not good television

Imagine if Jericho had just said “we pick John Cena” all those years ago instead if the music hitting and Cena being there! For fux sake

Have they still explained why Shelton and Cedric reunited with each other and why they rejoined Lashley, or is that just another thing that we’re supposed to forget ever happened?

One thing the E had been decent at was tying up loose ends, but lately, they’ve just been ignoring previous storylines left and right.
