Finn realllllly needs the win but this would be a great way for him to lean into a tweener/prince devitt type character or start a fued with Big E for the title once he gets to Raw

I can't imagine they're going to saddle Finn with the King gimmick.

    Please no.

I had a hunch they'd be going this way with the women's final: put the smallest woman up against the largest one.

This is going to be like a Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show matchup.

Great main event, but cheap ending. And it looks like they got the timing off at the end since they went off so quickly.

Demon King does have a certain ring to it. Especially with Bray Wyatt gone.

I counted 6-7 times Bianca was looking to the timekeeper area in the closing minutes. She was definitely getting cues to take it home.

The constant video cuts and camera shaking make it even worse. It's downright uncomfortable to watch. Just show the two people in the ring doing their move instead of giving five video cuts in 10 seconds.

You know, the more I think about it, the more pissed off I get about the booking for last night's Doudrop/Baszler match. Beyond just the lazy 2-3 minutes that the E gave them with the lame finish.

They've been building up Baszler the last few weeks as this pitiless heel who breaks elbows. They also somewhat have been building Doudrop up as the one who saves the poor jobber from getting their elbow broken. So why not build on that?

Have Doudrop cut a backstage promo before the semifinal, and have Baszler attack her and hurt her arm. Doudrop comes out to compete anyways with the injured arm. Have Baszler dominate, but ever so often, Doudrop gets to use her weight to her advantage to get a respite and have the match go 10 minutes or so. Finally at the end, Baszler gets overconfident, messes up, Doudrop overcomes the odds, splashes her and gets the win. Then have Zelina attack Doudrop and injure the arm further.

Then on Thursday, not only do you have a finals match, but you also have the added drama of can Doudrop overcome the injury again after just three days. Either she overcomes it and looks awesome for doing so, or have Baszler come out again at some point and stomp the elbow on the steps to put another competitor on the shelf for a while and Zelina gets to take advantage.

Simple, but effective story that puts some urgency and intrigue into the tournament. Nope.

I thought the tourney was going to be a vehicle to make Bayzler look like a killer. Its not and thats OK, Doudrop deserves a shot too. I mean, if they’re gonna put her over and send her up the card…..this is a good thing. We know she can go in the ring from her time in NXT UK, she’s showing good characater and audience connection….. if she’s gonna shine on her own and already overcome that weird Eva Marie angle, I’m in for it

i’m with easy e here. As a fan of both products I find Kahn’s rants and raves to be unbecoming, annoying…..he just comes off as a whining mad man to me.

drilling down as deep as he does to find something he “won” feels small, it makes his company feel small.

he may be a genius because he’s playing directly to his insane online followers. But it grinds my gears, personally
