Where's that .GIF of Grandpa Simpson entering and exiting the restaurant? That's what Harry Smith needs for his "grand" WWE return.

The list, since the tweet a previous post was based on was deleted:

I feel bad for Woods. All he does for UUDD, his last two "champions" (Breeze and Yim) have been released while holding the belts.

Keith Lee seems like a crazy cut. Then again, they've worked like hell to kill his momentum. It'll be great to see him fighting Kevin Owens in a couple months in AEW.

That does beg the question of how many wrestlers do they let go in a normal year, between budget cuts, expiring contracts, guys asking out of their contracts, etc.?
That's a long list, but surely some of them were no-names and NXT washouts. There were probably a few who left on their own for one reason or another. I see Cain Velasquez on there, who I think was a one-off for a Saudi match against Brock.

I think historically, they've done a dozen or so after Mania - Business cools down, obviously, and you don't need as large of a roster. But this feels like at least the third or fourth cut of multiple names, with at least one prominent name each time. I'm also VERY willing to bet that with AEW now established, plenty of guys are just getting cut by WWE because they won't agree to contract extensions.

You could build at least two companies with that talent.

Well, obviously, VKM is trying to bankrupt AEW by getting them to sign his castoffs!

Aew barely has room for its own talent, never mind all these people. Then you really gotta start feeling for the ROH crew, how the hell do the Danhausens of the world get a shot when here comes Keith Lee

Man, a company like MLW or PWG or OVW or even NWA could really use a cash infusion right about now. Between the cuts and what AEW and WWE have on their rosters, there's more than enough talent for a third company that could jump past Impact or at least be on that level. If Impact could get the money together, they could make a push, but they've never shown to be able to do anything sustainable, so I don't see them getting the backing.
