Totally agree, they’ve been teasing a split between these two for ages as MJF talks down to him and I think Wardlow has been criminally underused in the ring.

Geez -- MJF was still a better promo than practically anybody on the WWE roster even as a 19-year-old Tough Enough wannabe.

More of WWE WWE'ing like it always has.

Even if the Elias/Savage thing went forward, they did the same thing a handful of years ago with Damian Sandow to Curtis Axel's Hulk Hogan before they dropped it when WWE cut its ties with Hogan.

I’ve always thought Elias bore an uncanny resemblance to Savage.

What bugs me is that they had Elias ending the music character without fully getting onboard with the new character. Poor planning, as usual.

AEW now has half of the Undisputed Era and half of the Undisputed Era's significant others on their roster.

It's shocking to me that they'd ever make him change the music character in the first place. I realize it cooled off for now, but it's the type of gimmick that could immediately get hot again if they actually let him win some matches.

Don't get me wrong. Heyman is still the master mouthpiece, but where has this Brock been all these years?

Pat McAfee saying Shayna Baszler gave a "future endeavors" kick to the ring steps. Ouch.

Wow. They bring out Sami for his fight with Roman and they prolong it through three commercial breaks and a Brock beatdown before Roman leaves his couch.

Yep, one 10-second match in the last 30 minutes of the show.

Meanwhile, AEW has a tag title match to close out its show and I’m sure there will be more than two moves from bell to bell.

CORRECTION: It’s an non-title match because Fenix isn’t there.

It's funny. I just liked seeing my old dentist because we both went to the same college -- not because he was one of the hottest young stars in pro wrestling.
