I’ll reserve judgement until the Dark Side show is out.... I thought the A&E show toed the line pretty well, they showed the bad stuff but did not over indulge like they did with Savage.

I guess that’s the benefit of having kids. Warrior’s kids seem like good people. As did Piper’s and Pillman’s for that matter. The kids give everything a sort of ray of hope and maybe as a filmmaker you don’t want to trash their parents. But you don’t care about offending Lanny Poffo

Always remember the great play-by-play voices: Solie, Monsoon, Ross, Virk.

I think all parties realized this was a massive failure. It was doomed from the fact that Virk's former agent is the new-ish president of WWE.

It's funny that he was with the E so little, they didn't even have an in-house photo to post with his departure.

Even Mike Adamle lasted four months. I didn't catch much of Virk's work (ha), but I knew he was in trouble when he was on Ryen Russillo's podcast and mentioned that he was not a wrestling fan. It seemed like another of the WWE's moves to bring in a "respected" broadcaster, but you don't really need that anyway because Michael Cole is as vanilla ice cream as any generic ESPN guy. (Speaking of, Kenny Mayne is available, and that would be weird as fuck to have him call a couple of matches.)

He said the travel was too much of a grind. What did he expect? That he'd be calling Raw from his attic like Kornheiser does PTI?

It could have been worse. They could have made him wear an Arab head scarf and start praising Saddam Hussein.

And they haven't even started touring yet. Sheesh.

Agreed. I just got done watching it. One thing I noticed is that Dana acknowledged what he said was bad. She never said he was wrong, though. Maybe that’s my own bias showing, but it came off as he went too far and should’ve kept some some things quiet so as to not harm the business or family while endorsing racist, homophobic thoughts behind closed doors.

What I really would’ve liked to have heard was Dana explaining her LGBTQ social media post a few years back, especially given how they addressed his homophobia. What was the motivation behind it? Was it something that he came to realize before his death? Was it something she believed in but they disagreed on at home?

That documentary was well done. I’m just not buying all that his family or the McMahons attempted to portray about his redemption.

God bless CM Punk for still finding ways to troll John Cena in his new Twitter bio.

What’s a worse tongue slip, calling Taiwan a country or calling a championship opportunity a title shot, pal?

That didn't take long. Don't really know the guy, but at least he has experience in combat sports.

Speaking of which, Cena is supposed to make a big return to WWE in July. Will he be doing an updated Chinese version of Sgt. Slaughter's Iraqi sympathizer character?
