Will Paul Wight discover a picture of his mother with Andre?
Will Ed Leslie track down a parasailing boat? Maybe the dog leash that Sting had him on?

My childhood has been destroyed. Next, you’ll tell me that there isn’t a fat guy in a big red suit delivering presents.

And they had spent a fair amount of time building up a revamped character for Black. That is crazy.

Gotta imagine Lana was running out the clock on her contract and she'll join Miro pretty soon in AEW.

With Braun it seemed like they never wanted to pull the trigger on giving him the huge push. He settled into the Big Show role of giving champions a big, angry, intimidating guy to beat. Makes me wonder if he asked for a release or didn't want to re-sign as well.

Braun and Black being on that list are frankly shocking, which makes me wonder if "release" is the wrong word. June 1 was yesterday, and it would be pretty normal for contracts to expire at the end of a month. Braun in particularly seems like a kind of guy the WWE would keep rostered for years and years, a la Mark Henry, just on the hope he puts it all together.

I feel bad for Liv Morgan. They've cut both of her ride-or-dies. They had a fuckin' tag team right there for the women's tag belt, and they did nothing with them.

And Braun and Black, too? Fuck off with that, Vince.

I think Braun will undoubtedly end up in AEW with Wight and Henry, two of his mentors.

Was Braun a casualty of Brock Lesnar?
Lesnar played that role of the unbeatable monster champion for so long that people started to turn on it. Braun was built up in that same mold, and it felt like they got booked into a corner with him. They never gave him that final push over the top that would have cemented him as a dominant star for years, and instead he wound up as a monster jobber to the stars.

I always felt Braun didn't have to always be at the top of the card. I felt he could stay with some of the secondary belts, and he could go as a heel or face. Not everybody may agree, but I thought he had great charisma when he was a face -- like the puppy love stuff with Alexa around Mixed Match Challenge, the feud with Elias when Braun strummed the giant bass like a guitar or when he did a YouTube video mimicking Will Ferrell's character in Elf.

yes. A million percent yes. He should’ve won the title after the first greatest royal rumble when he was running thru Roman Reigns to the delight of the crowd. They stopped/started the push and changed the character because of Lesnar and it all went to shit

Agreeing with the rest of you, and we were also saying the same thing in 2018 when it was happening. Pretty sure we were all on board with the idea that Reigns had to turn heel, too, and it only took the WWE realizing that Reigns was still getting booed *after beating cancer* for that to happen. Maybe Braun's character is already too damaged for him to be anything but Big Show 2.0, but hell, I'd love to see him stay off TV for six months and then debut on AEW when nobody is expecting it.
