I just figured out why they’re doing the A.S.H. They’re trying to spoof Britt Baker.

 

So I guess they're going to shift Becky to Smackdown to keep her with Seth? I understand that, but she has no history with Bianca, unless Carmella wins the belt Friday, or they turn Bianca heel.

But glorious seeing them flip the Raw title onto Nikki. Inevitably, Charlotte will squash her next month and regain the belt as they try to get her up to 30 reigns by the end of the year.

 

It is nice to see the overwhelming reaction from the company and elsewhere happy for Nikki, including her recently released hubby and her superhero dad.

 

Nikki Cross, ASH, whatever, she deserves it. Thats really really cool

 

Guffaw. Not only did Kross get made to look like a chump, but today was his birthday.

Can't wait to see NXT to see how they handle this one.

Reminds me of a Law & Order episode where Jack McCoy is questioning a witness, starts veering into questionable territory, and the judge slows him down by cautioning, "You'd better be going somewhere with this ..."

 

I had not thought about it this way, but it certainly makes sense.

 

The Nikki A.S.H. thing is great - Feels like the sort of thing that only happens because it's under the radar enough for Vince to not meddle, though. It's not quite "Mankind beats The Rock with Stone Cold's help," but it's right around there. Also reminds me of the pop Jericho got for his "first" vacated title win against Triple H with the quick count, and then later, when Jericho and Benoit beat Triple H and Austin for the tag titles, in the match that Triple tore his quad. (That match still has the biggest crowd pop for a finish of all-time to me, and it's probably the best work of the Ross-Heyman announce team.)

 

Would be funny to re read all the Tweets about how her career was over the night she debuted the cape and hero gimmick

 

Rumblings that Daniel Bryan and WWE aren't talking right now about a new contract.

Say what you will about AEW getting all the WWE castoffs, but the thought of Danielson vs. Omega is mouthwatering.

 

Smart that they didn't have Kross live inside the arena for the crowd to shit all over him tonight.
