I live in Vancouver, the team and organization is a gong show, but I do love the condescending tone.

The teams problems go far deeper than missing Pettersen, from ownership to management. It’s an archaic run team and Montreal was not the worst team in the division. It appears you were the one not paying attention or watching the Canucks.

This is bang on. The way the game changes from regular season to playoffs is a joke. Forced parity.

He’s an old doddering fool but he’s right here. It doesn’t help when the national broadcaster is showing highlights of obvious penalties and lauding the officials for putting their whistles away. It’s the only sport that throws out the rule book come playoff time.

OK, now I know why you comment on the ‘Nucks and Benning, thought you lived in TO.
Van has a few holes but I actually thought they played some damn good hockey during the season. You could argue they are close to Calgary, possibly better overall pieces, and Calgary is pretty much equal with Montréal at this stage. Flames should be better but Chucky has to go. I’m amazed at how quickly Ottawa put together a decent and entertaining team. They have had a few high picks, yes, but not sure too many people saw this year as being as good as it was. It the only thing about Ottawa I like. lol. They are relentless and can skate.

Might be the only time in my life I'm pulling for the Islanders.

That fell apart quickly. Jarry gave up two goals in 18 seconds and three in about three minutes and the Penguins are done.

Jarry takes me back to my college days when we would yell “Sieve” at opposing goalies

Saw that Isles-Pens upset coming a mile away and that was factoring in the misguided belief Pittsburgh would get acceptable goaltending.

Such a pain in the ass to play against, especially when was at St. Mike’s because his style of play was perfect for that shoe box of an arena
