    Not even close to Wilson's skill as a player.

    A few days after the Wilson thing w/the Rangers, I was watching a videocast w/Dave Maloney (former Rangers player, TV analyst now). Something Tom Laidlaw does with guys he played with, usually he has Ron Greschner on, sometimes Maloney. They were talking about how things have changed since they played. Maloney said that he could only think of a few teams / players now that he doesn't think Wilson would have pulled that shit with, because the response would have been immediate. The first guy he thought of was Reaves. He might have named someone else, and then he said something like, "But you'll notice that neither of those guys play on the power play unit."

    Unreal. As much as I bitch about being a Caps fan, I can't imagine the pain of being a Leafs fan. I actually feel for them.

    Except for 2018, which was GREAT, being a Caps fan has been painful.
