    Buffalo, Seattle 1-2
Anaheim the only team to drop a spot

    No other changes.

Taylor Hall did it again, y'all.

The parochialism in North Carolina is problematic. And it extends to some people in Eastern North Carolina barely acknowledging that the Charlotte Hornets exist. Some in Western North Carolina barely acknowledge the Carolina Hurricanes.

How much of this is parochialism? How much of this is older generations not acknowledging that the landscape has changed? Who really knows?

I've said it here before and I'll say it again. Anyone who thinks there's little difference in covering Raleigh and Charlotte is wrong. Much more different sports landscapes than many know or want to know.

Did the accountant dude trip on the way to the stage, and mix up the cards?. Seattle was certain to be No. 1. And Anaheim only fell to 3, not 4. Shocking. Bettman must be pissed that his plans didn't work.

Hey, I’m just happy the Red Wings stayed at 6 and didn’t drop

How crazy would that have been if Seattle jumped a whole 2 spots?

Medics on the ice for Montreal’s Evans. I nodded off so I missed the hit but it looks and sounds awful

Oh god. Saw the replay. Scheifele with a massively dirty hit as Evans tried to score a wrap around for an open net. Just laid him out unnecessarily.

Schiefele pissed at Jets giving up the empty netter and he unloaded. Brutal hit came after Evans scored and looks like a neck injury when he was going down but Evans was out cold so maybe a rag doll effect. Too bad, don’t think Scheifele is a cheap shot artist but a big solid guy. Should have been smarter.

Gotta be done for the series, at least. Didn't leave his skates but was high and led with the elbow to the head at full speed against a defenseless player.

Saw Evans move his head and his arms. Not sure about his legs. Total cheap shot.

No doubt Schiefele should be done for a while. Usually a skilled, smart player. Even if Evans is fine and has no long-term issues, the league really needs to address this issue.
