If it’s the one on Dillon (when he got two for unsportsmanlike) it was nothing.

 

That hit can’t be in the game. You can’t target someone’s head. Agree to disagree.

 

That’s the thing. I’ll watch it again but I don’t know that’s what he was targeting. It’s like lots of others; guy’s going for the chest or shoulder, but the shooter’s hunched and it ends up being the head.

 

No that was earlier in the game. The one I’m thinking of is after Pastrnak had the breakaway chance and went hard into the boards. Marchand (maybe it was Dillion again) went whacking at a player’s legs. I think Marchand got his unsportsmanlike penalty when he kept shoving his stick in the guy’s face over the arms of the ref.

 

I’m willing to admit I’m wrong here, I just remember wondering how Marchand got nothing for the hit. I might be embellishing how bad it was in my head, but I am sure he didn’t get anything for it.

 

Isles, Pens had incident early in the third period in which 10 players – five for each – are sent to the penalty box.

So much for social distancing ...

 

Isles respond with goal. Two in first seven minutes of third to knot the game.

Then ... another penalty. And more chaos. At this rate, the Caps-Rangers after the Tom Wilson stupidity is going to look like a church social.

 

Didn't see the incident but wishing a full recovery for John Tavares of the Leafs. He was able to give a thumbs up after being carried from the ice on a stretcher.

 

Heard it was kind of ugly. Obviously, all the best to John Tavares. Curious what the reaction to that hit might be on the Island, given the way some cussed him when he went to Toronto.

 

Only scumbags would be happy with this, it was awful
