Deion Sanders in Boulder sounds like the football coaching version of Beverly Hills Cop.

“Prime Sanders grew up on the mean streets of Florida and ruled that world. Now he’s going to a place that’s even more challenging. Running a football team in the land of $1.7 million bungalows, Subarus, ‘I only listen to public radio’ types and endless indifference to his mission. They won’t understand a word he says but they’ll nod like they do and change their own dialects in his presence, while talking about how inclusive they are at Whole Foods. Don’t miss the zany antics and gridiron hijinks this fall on… Prime Sanders!”

The school is going to change that by creating something like an independent studies major where a transfer with an "unstructured" transcript can be placed and hence anyone can be admitted.

Oh, the University of North Carolina plan. Even if nobody goes to class, or if those who do get phony grades, it's guaranteed to be OK with the NCAA!

The locals here are easily more well-versed and informed, and I've never been to a game at Folsom Field. But Micro Jr. did last year and he said it was one of the best atmospheres he's ever seen and he had an absolute blast.

So someone in Boulder must like college football.

So what's still open? Cincy? And Michigan in January? Seems like more coaches got canned during the season, than after the final games of the year this year. I wonder if Matt Campbell realizes he's quickly becoming a "luke-warm" coach.

It used to be if you’d taken just one college class, you could not transfer to Penn State main unless you had 60 credits. In hindsight I’m sure athletes got around that all the time.
