2022 Atlantic Hurricane Season Running Thread

    A slow-moving Cat 1 usually does far more damage from inland flooding than it does coastal winds.

    I'm not even sure Nicole is really that much of a rainmaker. Nobody's really seeing more than four inches. And this is actually going to move pretty quickly.

    If it were turned upside down and backwards, I'd consider it a weak Nor'easter. It's a really wide and windy fall storm that just happened to spin rather quickly at a weak center.

    Two dog walks in the books, three more to go. And a 15-minute run.

    Waiting on a break in the rain. Got lucky earlier with just some misting (wouldn't have even been noticeable had the winds not made it seem harder).

    A few hours left, but I'm calling it.

    14 named storms
    8 hurricanes
    2 major hurricanes

    Ian was obviously the big one with Florida's Gulf Coast taking the worst of this season.
